A Laborerís Prayer...
"...and thank you dear God, and I know that you live.
The evidence is everywhere and in everything you give.
My own life has been a long trail of miracles and blessings.
Like a kingís dinner table, complete with desserts and dressings.
I know the earth is your vineyard and your harvest is ready.
And the laborers are few that will work hard and steady.
And Iím grateful for the chance youíve given me to work.
And I promise, dear God, Iíll do my best and not shirk.
Now, I pray for more blessings as I come before you today.
I ask for time and talents, so I can help others along the way.
I donít ask to be out front, I donít ask to lead the show,
Iíd be happy, dear God, if you just gave me weeds to hoe.
What I want is to tell others about the joy given me.
What I want is to tell them about thy Son and Thee.
"Behold, my soul delighteth in the things of the Lord; and my heart
continually upon the things which I have seen and heard." 2nd
