On Judgement day, we’ll try many things to gain entry to the Lord’s presence.
       But salvation will depend on our righteousness, our faith, belief and repentance.
Now some say, "Nay! It’s just your faith and belief He requires of you.
       He doth not require repentance or righteousness to let you through."
Yes, the Gate Keeper is a wondrous God, loving us more than we know.
       When we turn our lives over to Him, His love is quick to show.

He is a God who loves giving blessings more than we love to receive.
       Especially to those who love Him, who trust, have faith and believe.
But our actions have their consequences and learning that often smarts.
       Fortunately for us, the Lord is loving and judges us by our hearts.
But just as faith and belief are a must of which there is no imitation,
       without repentance and righteousness, the Gate Keeper extends not His invitation.
