Sometimes the Lord asks me to take
       a basket of food, not filling my plate.
When to my left or to my right,
       I see a basket, more pleases my sight.
A basket having more of what I need;
       why then take a lesser basket indeed?

But I have found this one thing true,
       when the Lord asks a favor of you
He returns the favor with wealth untold,
       whatever you give, He returns ten-fold.
So be not squeamish if He asks you to take
       a basket of food not filling your plate.

For I promise you in the name of the Lord,
       that you will lose nothing you can’t afford.
Then, the next basket He asks you to take,
       food will overflow, even fall from your plate.
And you as I, will know this statement is true:
       You’ll not do more for Him, than He for you.
