                  An Army of One...

The U.S. Army has coined the phrase, "An Army of One."
Most don’t understand that phrase and so they make fun.
But it means being an army within an army, a combatant still;
even if you’re the last man standing, because of your iron will.

Today, many people are busy trying to be popular and cool.
Not realizing that even the Devil thinks they are a fool.
Yes, even Satan is wise enough to know right from wrong.
and that’s why he focuses on the uncommonly strong.

Though Satan cares about the weak, they are easily led astray.
He knows if he can turn the strong, the strong will lead the way.
So his focus is on the strong, the gifted, the ones out front.
Getting them to promote evil, is the Devils favorite stunt.

Now, there has never been a greater need for heroes before.
Heroes who are heroes from their appearance to their core.
Heroes who are strong, yet malleable. The uncommon brand.
Heroes who know the Lord has all the "cool people" He can stand.

You’d think it takes something special to be this uncommon hero-kind.
It does! It takes honor, integrity and most importantly, a clean mind.
It takes being committed and dependable and being an ensign for good.
It takes following the Lord, being unafraid, willing to do as you should.

One person can make a difference. You really can be an army of one!
If you will commit, listen to the Holy Ghost, the Father and His Son.
The key is in your heart. So, where does your heart lie?
For where you keep this key ...you’ll also keep your eye.

"And Moroni was a strong and a mighty man...a man whose soul did joy in the liberty and the freedom of his country and his brethren. Yea, a man whose heart did swell with thanksgiving to his God...Yea, and he was a man who was firm in the faith of Christ...Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." Alma 48:11-17
