            Warriors and Honor...

There is a mighty group of warriors that you all know.
There are about three-quarters of a million of them or so.
You trust them with your life to do what is right.
Separating good and evil with a duty to stand and fight.
You trust them to respond with their authority and power,
to help and protect you during another darkened hour.
They have authority to act for and in behalf of the Governor.
An actual transfer of authority, from one who has it to another.
You expect them to remain calm in every type of situation.
Even when others panic, and to not show fear and trepidation.

Part of their duty is to live standards far above the rest.
To be knights in shining armor and strive to be; America’s best.
They are expected to act with honor and integrity constantly,
no matter what the situation, circumstance or adversity.
In times of uncertainty and fear, they are to be courageous and strong,
to show faith and steadfastness for those who follow them to draw on.
Sadly, they are their own worst enemy, reaping what they’ve sown
when they forsake their teachings and stray from what they were shown.
But they hold a sacred honor, though often that is not understood.
Trusted to protect and serve, they’re the members of the Blue Brotherhood.

There is another group of warriors, similar in many ways.
A special group of warriors for these the latter-days.
Their numbers are the same, three-quarters of a million or so.
Though warriors, they are recognized by their soft inner glow.
They’re trusted by those who know them to always choose the right.
To protect the weak and weary with every bit of their might.
You trust them to respond with their authority and power,
to help and console you during another darkened hour.
They have authority to act for and in behalf of The Father,
an actual transfer of authority, from one who has it to another.

Part of their duty is to live standards far above the rest.
To be knights in shining armor and strive to be; the Lord’s best.
Trusted to protect and serve, they’re the members of the Melchizedek Priesthood.

If we are not men of honor ...what are we...

Blessed Are They

who stand with the Lord,
insuring that the meek shall inherit the earth
by thwarting those who would inherit the meek.
For they shall be called,

Melchizedek  Priesthood  Holders.
