"Because you have asked Me several times how to give
       a Melchizedek Priesthood blessing to those who on earth live,
it shall be given you to be used righteously and for others sake.
       But use it wrongly and this gift from you I’ll quickly take.

You are to first clean your hands before coming to Me.
       Then clean your spirit by repentance and come forth worthily.
Than make a covenant with Me that you will prepare no words
       or I will confound thee and leave doubt in their mind afterwards.

In a blessing, you must think not of yourself, for it is not about you.
       Think of the person you are blessing: ...this is what you must do.
When you lay your hands on their head, concentrate on their life.
       Focus on their needs that will come from life’s trouble and strife.

Focus also on their gifts; those that lay in store from above.
       Ones I have to give them; they will come by a feeling of love.
Their life will appear as garden pathways. Wonder down each one,
       picking fruit from the different trees until I tell you, '...you are done.'

Give them the fruit you picked by the words I’ll put in your heart.
       Say not more nor less than you are given or My Spirit will depart.
If a thought comes to mind but it is accompanied with doubt
       then know this thought is not of Me and you must leave it out.

In the healing of the sick and afflicted, there’s more you need know.
       You must come and ask Me first, which way that you should go.
For it may not be wisdom in Me that they be healed in this way.
       Faith, or a lesson may be needed that will come with time as they pray.

So if you feel doubt or hesitation, you must then hold back.
       For you are wanting something that will steer their life off track.
But if you’ve asked in prayer and I’ve given you My permission,
       you can heal the sick, even raise the dead with faith and My inspiration.

You must believe with full expectation. Know the blessing will come true.
       For I the Lord God do keep My word so know I’ll be there with you.
This great Melchizedek Priesthood power comes to you from Me.
       The worthiness to use it: from you. ...Now you know how it must be."
