"And knowing mom, I’ll bet she packed enough for you too.
       So together, we could eat dinner!" "She did, Dad! That’s true!"
"Then go ahead and jump in son, I’ll catch you, you’ll see.
       And we can enjoy dinner and spend some time, you and me."
"But Dad, I can’t see you. How do I know you’re there?"
       "I’m right here. Just trust me. I’ll catch you with tender care."
The little boy jumped in and into the darkness he fell.
       Down into the blackened shaft of the soon to be water well.
Then into the grasp of his father the little boy came to rest.
       Cradled and held tight in the father's strong arms and chest.

Now, that little story is true. Far more than you may think.
       For that story is about you when you’ve stood upon your brink.
This simple story repeats itself almost every day of your life.
       Simple lessons in trust that come to you, from day to day strife.
Opportunities to relearn to trust the Father. So simple, yet so profound.
       But when learned, propels you forward, like a rocket from the ground.
For to him who will trust the Father, even when he cannot see;
       to him is gained an unusual confidence ...that will last an eternity.
"But Father, I can't see you. How do I know you're there?"
       "I'm right here. Just trust Me. I'll catch you with tender care!"
